City and County of Bastrop elected misfits won't be happy until Bastrop is completely paved over. These nut-jobs should be flown to Atlanta, Georgia and forced to drive around in one of the most congested cities in the nation. Remember, elected officials are working full time, on the taxpayers dime, to think up ways to tax and spend. I have to ask you - Is it progress to bulldoze thousands of trees to make way for more sprawl in this county. Only those officials on the take from developers and the developers themselves stand to gain. The rest of us will pay for their folly. Don't believe it? Check you tax bill.
